University at Buffalo Archives
This site includes: An Introduction to the South Campus, containing a listing of buildings constructed by E.B. Green for the University at Buffalo’s South Campus. Links are provided detailing each building. Illuminations: Revisiting the Buffalo Pan-American Exposition of 1901 has general information about the architecture of the Exposition. Finally, Buffalo Architecture at the Time of the Pan-American Exposition by Jack Qunin, mentions E.B. Green and has images of some buildings.
University at Buffalo Libraries
One of the Libraries' permanent online “Library Exhibits” is titled, 25th Anniversary of the Dedication of Lockwood Memorial Library. This exhibit discusses the history of the University at Buffalo’s Lockwood library, whose original building was designed by E.B. Green.
Green and Wicks Architecture Firm:
Under "Select a Topic" is the title Adirondack Park- Central Park for the World. Part II of this section, Owning the Land contains a drawing of the "Mountain Lodge" a clubhouse designed by Green and Wicks for the Adirondack Club.
A brief history of the Gallery is under General Information and History. The Gallery Archives contains images of the first volume of Academy Notes (and subsequent editions) and the 1905 Inaugural Loan Collection of Paintings, which includes the floor plan, an outdoor image, and inside images of the Gallery.
The Albright Memorial Library, located in Scranton, Pennsylvania, is another structure conceived by Green and Wicks. This site contains an outside photo of the library and a Library History.
Cornell University Libraries Gateway
Cornell University Libraries, “Digital Initiatives” contains the Andrew D. White Architectural Photographs Collection. This collection includes various photographs of the First Presbyterian Church of Buffalo (N.Y.). Philip Langdon’s article entitled, “Letter from Buffalo: City Recycling its Rich Heritage” in the September 1, 1981 (no. 9), contains images and mentions E.B. Green. Finally, the exhibition 125 Years of Achievement: The History of Cornell’s College of Architecture, Art and Planning provides information on Cornell's College of Architecture, E.B. Green’s alma mater.
