Policies - Metadata Policy
Acceptable Metadata Use: All uses of metadata contained within these images, and redistribution of this metadata is considered acceptable if the following conditions apply: (1) the use of the metadata is for non-commercial purposes (i.e. it does not directly generate revenue) and (2) all source metadata (e.g. copyright information) is retained. Any other use of the metadata is considered unacceptable. Information for metadata fields was collected from various works including the 1893 and 1905 City of Buffalo Directories and the following publications:
