The digital resources found on the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society (BECHS) web site are the intellectual property of the society or in the public domain. Generally, public domain materials are not protected by copyright. BECHS employs best practice methods to ensure that there has been no copyright infringement in the creation of these collections and welcomes additional information about claims to copyright ownership.
If any of the materials featured in this collection infringe copyright laws, pursuant to Title XVII of the United States Code, the material will be removed immediately upon notification. The restoration of materials to the digital library remains at the sole discretion of the individual who possesses a valid claim to ownership of copyright.
